BVNK, now part of Mastercard, is a stablecoin-powered financial stack for enterprises enabling businesses to move money across 130+ countries with 40+ licenses for fiat and digital assets. You will lead treasury operations and digital assets following Mastercard's acquisition, executing strategies aligned with group objectives and overseeing banking and crypto relationships. This is a strategic role requiring operational excellence, strong governance, and expertise in digital asset management.
Key responsibilities include:
**Treasury Strategy & Planning:** Develop and execute treasury strategies aligned with group financial objectives, supporting new product deployments and business growth. Develop and maintain short, medium, and long-term cash flow forecasts at group and entity level; prepare rolling scenarios and stress testing. Monitor actual cash positions against budgets/forecasts, conduct variance analysis, and provide insights on liquidity management and risk mitigation. Track and manage regulatory capital requirements and optimize working capital in alignment with group guidelines.
**Operations & Systems:** Design, implement, and oversee Treasury Management System including workflows, controls, reporting architecture, security, and data integrity. Manage bank account setup, activation, maintenance, governance policies, and banking relationships. Establish cash concentration strategies, execute intercompany transactions, and manage payment relationships to optimize efficiency.
**Risk & Credit Management:** Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks (interest rate, FX, liquidity, and counterparty credit); develop and implement hedging strategies where appropriate. Establish and monitor counterparty credit limits; conduct credit assessments and due diligence for banking partners, exchanges, and liquidity providers. Monitor ongoing compliance and creditworthiness of key relationships; report risk exposures to senior management and group treasury.
**Reporting, Governance & Compliance:** Prepare NAV and monthly ALCO reports; develop treasury dashboards and management information reporting for senior leadership and group treasury. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, group treasury policies, and Mastercard governance framework; maintain audit trails and stay informed of regulatory changes. Chair the monthly Asset Liability Committee; manage intercompany funding arrangements and ensure transfer pricing compliance.
**Stakeholder & Group Integration:** Lead the Asset & Liability Committee and communicate treasury strategies and performance to senior management, stakeholders, and group treasury. Foster cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, compliance, and legal teams. Coordinate with Mastercard group treasury and regulatory bodies on strategic treasury matters.
**Requirements:**
- Minimum 8–10 years experience in corporate treasury, treasury operations, or similar senior finance role
- Proven experience implementing and managing TMS platforms
- Strong background in cash flow forecasting and liquidity management
- Experience with NAV and ALCO reporting
- Knowledge of bank account governance and banking operations
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent)
- Demonstrable experience managing both traditional fiat and cryptocurrency assets
- Strong understanding of cryptocurrency markets, exchanges, and custody solutions
- Experience managing counterparty credit risk and due diligence processes
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for crypto and digital assets
**Desirable:**
- Experience in fintech, digital assets, or payment processing sectors
- Knowledge of payments systems, banking protocols, and settlement infrastructure
- Experience with specific TMS platforms (e.g., Kyriba, Icap, Treasury)
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (FCA, PRA, FIU regulations)
- Background in risk management and hedging strategies
- Experience leading financial committees and governance structures
- Exposure to post-acquisition integration or matrix management
- Knowledge of transfer pricing and intercompany transaction management
