Blank Street, a rapidly growing food & beverage brand with 100+ locations across the US and UK, is seeking a Head of Corporate IT & Security to build and lead its IT function from the ground up. This is a greenfield opportunity to establish corporate IT strategy, operating model, and security posture for a scaling consumer brand.
You will own the end-to-end corporate IT strategy and execution, including support intake, prioritization, escalation, and documentation. You'll establish dotted-line partnerships with Field IT leads in the US and UK, setting global standards and strategy while enabling local teams to execute efficiently.
Key responsibilities include: establishing security fundamentals (identity, access, endpoint security, incident readiness); managing MDM and endpoint standards (provisioning, compliance, refresh cycles, secure baselines); consolidating SaaS tools to reduce sprawl and improve cost/risk controls; developing training and enablement programs for onboarding, offboarding, and security hygiene; establishing AI governance policies and safe usage frameworks; and aligning Field IT teams across geographies on standards, tooling, decision-making, and escalations.
You are a senior operator comfortable building IT functions from scratch with a strong security and risk mindset. You communicate clearly across the organization—from store teams to executives—and have hands-on experience with identity/access management, endpoint management (MDM), and SaaS vendor consolidation. You've built or scaled IT functions before (not just maintained existing ones) and ideally have experience in retail, hospitality, or multi-site consumer businesses. Experience with AI tool governance and policy development is valued.
Requirements: 8+ years in Corporate IT, IT Operations, Security, or related roles; hands-on experience with identity/access management and MDM; experience consolidating SaaS and managing vendors/budgets; experience operating across multiple sites and geographies; proven track record building or scaling an IT function.
