Anthropic is seeking a Head of APAC GTM Enablement to build and lead the company's go-to-market enablement function across the Asia-Pacific region. This is a foundational role—you will be the first enablement leader based on the ground in APAC, responsible for transforming how the field across the region gets ready for customer conversations. You will own enablement across all GTM functions (not just sales): onboarding, ongoing skill development, manager coaching support, and launch readiness. Your core mission is to turn a rapidly scaling region into a field that is conversation-ready, in the languages and cultural contexts where those conversations happen. This is a build role with a global spine. You will inherit a working global and international enablement engine and design APAC-specific adaptations and translations, while feeding learnings back into the international and global programme. The approach is practice-first: adults learn by doing. You will design sessions around live activity—deal walkthroughs, role-plays, customer-conversation rehearsal—and measure success by what changes in how people think, decide, and sell a week later, not by content shipped or attendance. Key responsibilities include: standing up the APAC enablement rhythm with in-region onboarding cohorts and live practice-based sessions in APAC time zones; adapting the international portfolio for APAC markets where enablement must be written and translated ahead of delivery; partnering with regional GTM leaders to build a coaching standard that scales; owning launch readiness so the APAC field is certified and conversation-ready when new models or products ship; and running practice-first sessions focused on application over presentation. A significant part of the role involves helping experienced sellers unlearn pre-AI habits, not just teaching new ones. You will use AI creatively—to give every seller personalised practice, real-deal scenarios, and fast feedback—rather than to produce more content. You will operate as the region's first enablement leader, prioritising ruthlessly, borrowing leverage from global programmes, and knowing when to adapt versus adopt. You will work fluently with sales leaders as a peer, engaging in pipeline reviews, deal inspection, and forecast conversations. Anthropicis a public benefit corporation headquartered in San Francisco, focused on creating reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. The company offers competitive compensation, optional equity donation matching, generous vacation and parental leave, flexible working hours, and office space for collaboration. Visa sponsorship is available. REQUIREMENTS: - 15+ years in GTM enablement, sales productivity, or field roles, with several years leading enablement - Built and led GTM enablement in APAC with direct experience in more than one of the region's markets - Influenced and shipped beyond your own region (either from a global seat or regional one): a programme adopted elsewhere, or a senior stakeholder outside your reporting line whose decision you changed - Personally design practice-first enablement and measure it by what the field does differently afterwards, not content shipped or attendance - Understand how adults learn and apply it at unprecedented speed; experience helping experienced sellers unlearn pre-AI habits - Creative with the craft; use AI to give sellers personalised practice, real-deal scenarios, and fast feedback, not to produce more content - Owned a function with end-to-end accountability rather than orchestrated one - Enabled a field across languages and cultures; understand what breaks when content built for English-first markets ships as-is - Operate as the region's first enablement leader: prioritise ruthlessly, borrow leverage from global programmes, know when to adapt versus adopt - Work fluently with sales leaders as a peer: pipeline reviews, deal inspection, forecast conversations, not just training rooms - Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience STRONG CANDIDATES MAY ALSO: - Have held both a global and an APAC enablement role - Have run enablement delivered across APAC markets - Have built a regional enablement function from zero - Have carried a quota or led sellers earlier in career - Have enablement experience in AI, developer platforms, or technical products sold to both executives and builders - Have built manager or coaching programmes, not just individual-contributor enablement
