Kodiak Robotics is seeking an experienced Hardware Quality Industrialization Engineer to join its rapidly growing manufacturing team in Lancaster, Texas. This is a founding role where you will design and build the quality function from the ground up, working across engineering, supply chain, operations, and external manufacturing partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing data-driven, repeatable quality processes in collaboration with internal teams and external manufacturing partners
- Evaluating new and existing suppliers to ensure their processes and controls meet Kodiak standards
- Analyzing field returns to identify and drive design improvements
- Leading root cause analysis initiatives with internal stakeholders and external partners, owning corrective actions and improvements
- Establishing test parameters, pass/fail limits, and overall test strategy with the internal test team
- Owning supply verticals based on product type (PCBAs, harnessing, etc.)
- Ensuring external partners meet compliance and certification requirements
You will bring a minimum of 5+ years of quality, supplier quality, or supplier industrialization experience, ideally in aerospace, automotive, or autonomous vehicles. Strong expertise in supplier evaluation and management, statistical quality control analysis, and problem-solving methodologies (8D, 5 whys, fishbone diagrams) is essential. You must be able to manage competing priorities across the organization.
