OpenAI's Enablement team is seeking a GTM Technical Onboarding Program Manager to design and deliver role-specific onboarding for technical customer-facing GTM teams. This role focuses on the critical 30–90 day window when new hires transition from foundational knowledge to job-ready capability. You will own the end-to-end design and delivery of onboarding curricula that translates OpenAI's complex product and deployment concepts into practical, role-specific learning experiences. Working closely with technical GTM leaders, Product teams, and subject-matter experts, you'll define learning outcomes, build hands-on labs and simulations, design technical assessments and certifications, and establish manager-ready readiness signals. Key responsibilities include: designing day 30–90 role-specific onboarding pathways; creating curricula that develop product fluency, scoping ability, solution judgment, and customer-facing confidence; facilitating hands-on experiences such as technical discovery practice and customer scenarios; coaching subject-matter experts to teach technical content effectively; establishing scalable content governance and reinforcement systems; and using learner feedback and performance data to continuously improve programs. You should have 5–8 years in technical enablement, Solutions Engineering, Solutions Architecture, Technical Success, Implementation, or related customer-facing technical roles. Direct experience with complex SaaS platforms, strong technical discovery and scoping skills, and the ability to explain complex concepts clearly are essential. Experience in Solutions Engineering or Solutions Architecture is strongly preferred, as is familiarity with AI/ML products. Background in instructional design, adult learning principles, or technical training program delivery is a plus. This is an in-office role in San Francisco. You'll thrive if you combine deep technical judgment with a passion for helping others build capability and confidence in fast-moving, product-driven environments.
