Datadog is seeking an experienced GTM Strategy & Operations Associate to join their growing team. In this role, you will own the day-to-day management and strategy of the sales productivity tool ecosystem that powers Datadog's Sales and Customer Success organizations, including contact intelligence platforms (ZoomInfo, Cognism), outbound sequencing tools (Groove, Salesloft, Outreach), and data enrichment solutions (Clay, Clearbit, Crunchbase).
Key responsibilities include managing the complete lifecycle of sales productivity tools—from strategy and vendor relationships through enablement and adoption. You will lead the evaluation and piloting of AI-powered tools to enhance sales productivity, including AI-assisted prospecting, intelligent sequencing, and personalization features. You'll define Datadog's forward-looking AI tooling roadmap for GTM teams.
You will drive vendor performance through relationship management, contract negotiations, and competitive benchmarking in partnership with Legal, Finance, and Procurement. You'll measure impact by defining and tracking success metrics (adoption rates, data quality, pipeline influenced) and use data-driven insights to make consolidation, expansion, or replacement decisions.
Cross-functional collaboration is central to the role. You'll work closely with Sales and Customer Success to understand workflow needs and translate them into tooling improvements. You'll own tool onboarding, change management, and adoption programs with the Sales Enablement team. Additionally, you'll lead structured vendor evaluation processes (RFPs, pilots, POCs), build business cases, and present investment recommendations to GTM leadership.
You'll ensure seamless integration between sales productivity tools, Salesforce CRM, and the broader GTM tech stack, while building governance frameworks, acceptable use policies, and data hygiene standards across all managed tools.
Required qualifications include 2-4+ years in GTM Strategy & Operations, management consulting, banking, analytics, or similar analytical roles, ideally in SaaS or high-growth B2B technology. You need proven vendor management experience, hands-on familiarity with B2B sales technology, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and an analytical mindset for measuring tool adoption and ROI. Solid Salesforce CRM knowledge and effective communication skills are essential. Bonus experience includes SaaS background, AI passion and experimentation, familiarity with buyer intent platforms or conversation intelligence tools, and technical aptitude with APIs.
