depthfirst is building AI-powered security intelligence to detect and remediate critical software vulnerabilities. The company trains and scales security AI agents to discover zero-day vulnerabilities across large customer codebases and popular open-source software. The founding team includes technical leaders from DeepMind, Databricks, Square, and Faire.
As GTM Engineer, you will build the technical systems and infrastructure behind how depthfirst goes to market. You'll work across engineering, sales, marketing, and customer success to transform fragmented data and manual processes into reliable software, automation, and infrastructure.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building integrations and data pipelines connecting Salesforce, product data, marketing platforms, sales tools, and internal systems
- Designing the GTM data foundation as the company scales, including data models, Salesforce architecture, APIs, pipelines, and data warehouse
- Automating operational workflows such as campaign ingestion, lead routing, enrichment, attribution, follow-up tracking, and CRM updates
- Building lightweight internal and customer-facing applications for enablement, account-health, and product analytics
- Replacing brittle manual workflows with maintainable, testable systems that can be extended as the business evolves
- Making GTM data trustworthy and accessible to sales, marketing, customer success, and leadership
- Working directly with GTM teams to identify bottlenecks and translate needs into technical solutions
- Owning the systems you create, including accuracy, reliability, documentation, and ongoing improvement
This is not a reporting-only analytics role. You will be a builder comfortable writing code, working with APIs and data, and using AI agents to ship quickly. You should understand underlying business problems and own what you build from initial design through ongoing operation. You'll have significant autonomy to decide when to write software, use an automation platform, or introduce a new tool, with responsibility for building systems that are maintainable, reliable, and extensible.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience building data pipelines, integrations, internal tools, automations, or other production systems
- Comfortable writing and reviewing code; not required to be a traditional product engineer but should independently build and maintain technical solutions
- Fluent in SQL and comfortable working with APIs, schemas, data models, databases, Salesforce, Databricks, and Snowflake
- Ability to take ambiguous business problems, determine what should be built, and ship practical solutions
- Understanding of the difference between fast prototypes and foundations that need to remain reliable as company scales
- Experience using AI coding agents and modern development tools to move faster without compromising quality
- Willingness to learn how sales, marketing, and customer-success teams operate rather than treating requirements as handed specifications
- Clear communication with both technical and nontechnical teammates
- Belief in the mission of securing the world's software
- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate

- Experience building systems for scaling B2B companies
- Familiarity with Salesforce and modern GTM tools (Clay, n8n, Gong, or similar)
- Experience combining product-usage and GTM data
- Email deliverability experience
- Data warehouse and modern analytics infrastructure experience
- Experience building applications from scratch
- Familiarity with security, infrastructure, or developer-tooling markets
