Shift5 is building a data platform for onboard operational technology (OT) that delivers cybersecurity, predictive maintenance, and compliance capabilities to defense and commercial fleets. The Growth Operations Enablement Manager will serve as the operational backbone of the Growth organization, translating complex technical capabilities into compelling customer messaging and driving cross-functional execution.
Key responsibilities include building and owning Shift5's sales enablement strategy—developing presentations, capability briefs, battle cards, demos, and executive materials. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering to translate technical capabilities into clear value propositions, and build standardized sales playbooks by product, customer, mission area, and competitive landscape.
The role requires serving as an operational bridge between Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, Government Affairs, Capture, Contracts, and Mission Delivery. You'll establish and manage the Growth organization's operating cadence, including pipeline reviews, deal desk gating, account planning, quarterly business reviews, and executive reporting.
Additional responsibilities include leading cross-functional initiatives to improve communication and accountability, developing competitive intelligence and customer insights, building onboarding programs for Strategic Account Executives and Deployment Strategists, and supporting proposal and capture efforts through reusable content libraries and technical narratives.
You'll capture Voice of the Customer feedback to influence product roadmap decisions, identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation for seller productivity, and develop dashboards providing leadership visibility into pipeline health, sales performance, and enablement effectiveness. Success means improving alignment across functions, reducing proposal development time, increasing sales effectiveness through stronger messaging and operational discipline, and becoming a trusted strategic partner to Growth leadership.
This is not a traditional sales enablement role focused solely on collateral creation—it requires strategic thinking, operational excellence, and the ability to connect multiple organizations around a common go-to-market strategy. U.S. citizenship is required due to federal contract requirements and access to controlled information.
