Flutterwave is seeking a GRC, Privacy & Security Awareness Manager to lead the development, implementation, and compliance of technical security across the enterprise. This role sits at the intersection of governance, risk management, and compliance, with a particular focus on emerging technologies like AI.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing enterprise-wide security standards, processes, procedures, and guidelines
- Creating governance frameworks and risk management processes for secure, ethical, and compliant AI adoption
- Assessing and monitoring security, privacy, compliance, and AI-related risks across business and technology initiatives
- Performing governance and risk assessments for AI-enabled solutions, including third-party services
- Managing risk tolerance levels and balancing risk exposure with risk investments across the organization
- Reporting security performance against established metrics and ensuring SLA compliance
- Creating and maintaining an information security awareness program to help staff understand risk-return tradeoffs
- Ensuring customer, employee, and business partner data is processed and protected in line with applicable privacy laws and global best practices
- Monitoring emerging technology adoption patterns and aligning policies with organizational needs
The ideal candidate will have a BA or MS in computer science, information systems management, business administration, or related field, with CISSP and/or CISM certification. You'll need a minimum of 8 years running an information security office, 3+ years in strategic planning and budgeting, and 5+ years with regulatory compliance and security management frameworks (ISO 27000, COBIT, NIST 800, etc.). Experience with AI governance or emerging technology governance programs is advantageous.
