Salary: USD 129,000 - 171,000 / annual
Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, is seeking an experienced Government Property Manager to join its Costa Mesa, CA location. You will work alongside a second Government Property Manager to manage the lifecycle of customer-owned property, ensuring compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).
Key responsibilities include:
- Shared site accountability for customer property lifecycle operations, maintaining oversight of 10 mandated outcomes and 22 property management system elements to mitigate compliance risk
- Analyze current processes to identify improvements, enhance efficiency, and reduce waste
- Manage and execute compliance audits (internal and external, including Defense Contract Management Agency reviews) and address corrective actions
- Ensure work is scheduled and performed in accordance with government regulations, customer contracts, and corporate policy
- Maintain asset management systems for traceability and accurate transaction history
- Receive, identify, tag, and originate asset records
- Assist in completion, reconciliation, and reporting of physical inventories
- Coordinate property reviews and physical inventories at subcontractors
- Report property transactions through PIEE (shipment, receipt, transfer, consumption, LTDD, excess property)
- Provide guidance and training to cross-functional teams on government property regulations
- Proactively identify challenges and remove obstacles for team and internal partners
- Communicate effectively across internal and external teams using appropriate channels
- Be flexible and willing to take on tasks of all sizes in a startup environment

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing customer property
- Working knowledge of FAR Part 52.245-1 and DFARS Part 245, with demonstrated ability to apply and maintain compliance systems
- Experience supporting and conducting compliance audits, including internal assessments and external reviews (DCMA, DCAA)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data, identify trends, and generate actionable insights
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and build relationships
- Familiarity and competence with property management systems and tools, including PIEE
- Customer-focused, self-initiated, able to work extended hours and travel as required
- Ability to perform physical requirements of warehouse and inventory environment (standing, walking, bending, moving material for extended periods)
- Eligible to obtain and maintain U.S. Secret security clearance
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Certifications such as Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS), Certified Professional Property Administrator (CPPA), or Certified Professional Property Manager (CPPM) from the National Property Management Association (NPMA)
