ICEYE, the world leader in sovereign intelligence from space, is seeking a Supply Planning Specialist to join the Global Manufacturing Strategy & Compliance department in Espoo, Finland. This role is critical to ensuring materials flow seamlessly across multiple global manufacturing sites to meet production schedules and customer demands in the fast-paced space manufacturing environment. You will develop and maintain short- and long-term supply plans based on demand forecasts, production schedules, and material availability. Key responsibilities include defining planning parameters and ensuring data accuracy for MRP systems, monitoring inventory levels of raw materials and components to maintain optimal stock while avoiding shortages or excess, and reviewing MRP results to create purchase requests based on lead times and inventory levels. You'll collaborate closely with procurement teams to ensure timely ordering and delivery from suppliers, work with demand and production planners to resolve supply constraints, and manage supply exceptions while communicating risks proactively to stakeholders. A significant part of the role involves driving the implementation, optimization, and effective use of MRP functionality within the ERP system in collaboration with IT teams. Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, plus 2+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management, preferably in electronics or high-tech manufacturing. You must be proficient in ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite, SAP, or similar), have excellent Excel and data analysis skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively while communicating across functional teams. Nice-to-have skills include experience with BI tools for data visualization, familiarity with MES and PLM systems, and basic Python knowledge for automation and reporting. The role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and is permanent, hybrid-based in Espoo. Employment is subject to applicable security screening.
