Anthropic is seeking a Global Supply Manager for Contract Manufacturing to own the company's relationships with contract manufacturers (CMs) and original design manufacturers (ODMs) that build servers, racks, and accelerator systems for its data center infrastructure. This role bridges commercial strategy and operational execution: you will structure and negotiate CM/ODM agreements (MSAs, SOWs, pricing, NRE models, liability terms) while simultaneously driving execution against those agreements week-to-week.
Key responsibilities include designing SLA/SLO frameworks and vendor scorecards; managing demand forecasts and converting them into committed capacity build plans aligned to deployment schedules; ensuring builds meet volume and on-time delivery commitments; managing partner inventory and materials; verifying partner billing; escalating performance issues with data-driven corrective actions; and coordinating across product engineering, manufacturing engineering, supply chain, and deployment operations to keep factory commitments and downstream plans aligned.
This is a hands-on role requiring up to 50% travel to partner factories in the US and internationally. You will present long-term partner strategy to leadership while also managing day-to-day operational details.
Ideal candidates have 10+ years in supply management, supply chain, or manufacturing operations with direct ownership of CM/ODM relationships through both commercial negotiation and production ramp cycles. You should have experience structuring manufacturing agreements, owning build plans and forecast commitments, and working rigorously with data and scorecards. Experience with server/rack/accelerator manufacturing at major CMs (Foxconn, Quanta, Wiwynn, Jabil, ZT Systems, etc.), CM cost structures, large-scale hardware deployments, S&OP processes, or liquid-cooled/high-power-density compute systems is a bonus.
