Valar Atomics is building scalable, factory-made advanced nuclear systems to unlock clean, high-temperature power for industrial applications, hydrogen production, and next-generation manufacturing. The company is moving from pilot plant (Orangeville, Utah) toward serial production.
As Global Supply Manager, you will own the end-to-end procurement function and build Valar's supplier strategy from the ground up. This is a high-ownership role reporting to Manufacturing and Executive leadership, responsible for establishing the playbook for sourcing, negotiation, and supplier relationship management at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own supply chain execution for assigned product portfolios, driving on-time, on-quality, on-cost delivery.
- Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Program Management, Manufacturing, and Quality to align requirements and priorities.
- Identify and proactively communicate internal and external supply chain risks; build and own mitigation plans.
- Track supplier performance, manage schedule execution, and lead recovery and improvement initiatives across schedule, quality, cost, capacity, and scalability.
You will ensure the supply chain never becomes a bottleneck to deployment as Valar scales from pilot to production.
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
- 10+ years of supply chain, operations, or program management experience.
- Proven track record managing suppliers in fast-growth, highly regulated environments.
- Hands-on ERP experience.
- Strong problem-solving and data-driven approach.
- Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
