Bedrock Robotics is deploying autonomous systems on heavy construction equipment across the country. The company has raised $350M in two years and achieved the first fully autonomous excavator deployments in construction, with a team that includes veterans from Waymo, Segment, and Uber Freight.
As Global Supply Manager, you will be the strategic link between hardware engineering, financial forecasting, and global supplier operations. You will develop and execute comprehensive global sourcing strategies across commodity categories including compute, memory, sensors/LiDAR, cameras, PCBAs, harnesses, actuators, gearboxes, batteries, and electromechanical assemblies.
Key responsibilities include: establishing dual-source and multi-source strategies to mitigate geopolitical, tariff, and capacity risks; developing China+1 and regionalization strategies; maintaining the Approved Vendor List with supplier capabilities, capacity, and risk profiles; aligning supplier capacity with 3–5 year production and fleet deployment forecasts; securing capacity and long-lead components through LTAs and strategic buys; owning commodity cost strategies and developing should-cost models; negotiating pricing, volume commitments, and commercial terms; partnering with Hardware Engineering on design-for-manufacturability and BOM optimization; managing the transition from prototype to production suppliers; maintaining a critical-component risk register; building strategic supplier relationships with executive-level engagement; establishing QBRs and performance reviews; and aligning rolling demand forecasts with supplier capacity.
You will work at the intersection of advanced robotics hardware, supply chain complexity, and real-world deployment challenges. The role requires expertise in managing constrained components, geopolitical supply risks, and the full product lifecycle from prototype through sustaining operations.
