Lab37 Robotics is a technology company developing and deploying robots for direct-to-customer food production. The Global Supply Chain Manager will lead supplier development and sourcing efforts for next-generation robotic systems, partnering closely with engineering teams to understand product roadmaps and identify supply chain needs.
Key responsibilities include identifying, evaluating, and onboarding strategic suppliers and manufacturing partners across a global landscape. You will develop and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with key suppliers, generating excitement around the product vision and aligning roadmaps. The role involves negotiating complex contracts and supply agreements that balance cost, quality, schedule, and long-term strategic goals.
You will drive sourcing decisions using detailed cost analysis, manufacturing feasibility assessments, supplier capability evaluations, and risk mitigation planning. Performance monitoring and coordination with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams is essential. Cross-functional collaboration with finance, legal, and operations ensures sourcing strategies align with broader company objectives. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, leveraging spreadsheets, dashboards, and analysis to support forecasting, supplier scorecards, and cost tracking.
The ideal candidate brings 2+ years of supply chain, sourcing, or supplier management experience in high-growth hardware or technology companies (robotics, consumer electronics, medical devices). Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract development is required. You should demonstrate proven ability to build and maintain strong supplier relationships that evolve into co-development partnerships. Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple vendors, categories, and timelines simultaneously are critical. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—confident interacting with executives, engineers, and global suppliers—are essential.
The role is based in the Pittsburgh office with five-day-per-week onsite work. Base salary ranges from $120,000 to $180,000 annually, with eligibility for equity awards and annual performance-based bonuses.
