Anduril Industries, a defense technology company, seeks a Global Sourcing Manager for Semiconductor Components to serve as the domain expert for semiconductor component sourcing and supply chain strategy. This is a high-impact role responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies that drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply chain resilience across the organization's defense and aerospace products.
You will own end-to-end responsibility for delivering quality semiconductor components at the right cost and timeline. Key responsibilities include developing new supplier partnerships and sourcing strategies, leading RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, and managing relationships with contract manufacturers. You'll conduct detailed total-cost-of-ownership (TCO) analysis on quote submissions, negotiate commercial agreements with suppliers, and ensure continuity of supply and risk management.
This role requires close collaboration with engineering teams and contract manufacturers to influence technical design specifications and customize manufacturing requirements. You will manage supplier performance across key metrics (delivery, quality, cost, innovation), conduct regular technology reviews to executive staff, and serve as the primary escalation point for semiconductor commodities.
Additional responsibilities include managing new product introduction (NPI) to manufacturing (MP) operations, influencing contract manufacturer processes and capital expenditure decisions, and developing commercial agreements that reflect project expectations including fixed/variable costs, lead times, schedules, and manufacturing capacities.
The role requires up to 50% travel and relocation to Costa Mesa, CA if not already local. A U.S. Top Secret security clearance is preferred and may be required.
