Graphcore, a leading AI compute infrastructure innovator and member of the SoftBank Group, is seeking a Global Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing for rack infrastructure and mechanical hardware components supporting its AI infrastructure platforms. You will own end-to-end sourcing strategy for rack and mechanical hardware, translating Graphcore's technical product roadmaps and infrastructure deployment plans into actionable supplier strategies. Key responsibilities include developing multi-year commodity strategies aligned with engineering roadmaps, leading complex commercial negotiations for long-term supply agreements and capacity reservations, building cost models and performing should-cost analysis to strengthen negotiation leverage, and securing supply continuity through capacity planning and supplier risk management. You will conduct executive supplier business reviews to drive performance and alignment, partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams, and ensure supplier agreements protect Graphcore's long-term commercial interests. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of strategic sourcing or technical procurement experience, with strong expertise in rack infrastructure and mechanical hardware components. You should have a proven track record negotiating complex supplier agreements, the ability to translate technical requirements into commercial strategies, strong financial acumen including cost modeling and total cost of ownership analysis, and excellent cross-functional collaboration skills. A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related technical field is required. Desirable qualifications include deep expertise in data center hardware ecosystems, experience sourcing hardware for AI/ML or hyperscale infrastructure, strong industry relationships within mechanical manufacturing, and experience supporting sourcing strategies at high-growth infrastructure or cloud-scale companies.
