Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomous maritime defense systems, is seeking a Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Supervisor to lead a team of GSOC operators in Austin, TX. This role is central to delivering seamless customer service and incident management for physical security operations.
You will lead a team responsible for monitoring and responding to physical security incidents across Saronic's operations. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs) for GSOC systems monitoring, incident response protocols, and escalation procedures. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Risk Intelligence, IT, and InfoSec teams to respond to incidents effectively and conduct regular training exercises to keep GSOC staff prepared.
The role requires hands-on involvement in emergency management, working with the Security Systems team to troubleshoot malfunctions, identify new tool use cases, and maintain a culture of customer service excellence. You'll assess risk and make informed decisions during fast-paced incidents, develop after-action reviews, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Required qualifications include 2+ years of GSOC operations experience, knowledge of physical security systems, and demonstrated experience leading physical security incident response and training operators. A high school diploma is required; an associate or bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Studies, or related field is preferred.
The work environment involves extended hours in a well-lit operations center, prolonged computer work, and occasional lifting of system hardware (up to 20 pounds). This is a mission-critical role supporting defense operations. U.S. Person status is required due to export-controlled information access.
