Cadana is the payments and payroll infrastructure powering global workforce platforms. The company provides the wallet, payroll engine, and compliance layer behind contractor payments, payroll, and Employer of Record (EOR) services, combining payment rails with tax and compliance infrastructure for workers in virtually any market. You will own the last-mile execution of payroll for Cadana's client book. This is a hands-on operational role where you ensure every payroll cycle runs correctly and on time: inputs are prepared accurately, calendars are built and followed, funds are received and disbursed, and output files reach clients exactly when expected. Key responsibilities include owning payroll accuracy end-to-end from prepared inputs to payslips, reports, and compliance documentation; building and maintaining payroll calendars per country and client; confirming client funds are received on schedule and payments go out correctly; serving as the internal expert on payroll flow mechanics for each country Cadana operates in; acting as the client-facing point of contact for execution questions; learning new markets quickly through self-education on payroll statutes backed by in-country counsel; and creating standards, playbooks, and internal knowledge bases that make accuracy repeatable. You'll become a genuine expert in payroll flows for every supported country and will be responsible for catching discrepancies before they reach clients. The role requires learning quickly and turning that knowledge into repeatable processes. You'll work in a fast-moving, execution-heavy environment with strong working overlap with European client hours. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of hands-on experience executing last-mile payroll operations (not strategy, consulting, or sales), deep operating experience in complex payroll regimes such as Brazil, India, or Mexico with multi-fund social security, layered taxes, and real-time e-government reporting, and working knowledge of payroll flows across multiple countries. You should be a resourceful self-educator comfortable navigating operational differences between markets, have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, and possess strong client-facing communication skills.
