Papaya Global, a B2B SaaS unicorn with $400M+ in funding, is seeking a Global Payroll & EOR Onboarding Implementation Manager to lead end-to-end implementation projects for its payroll, Employer of Record (EOR), and workforce management solutions across 160+ countries.
In this role, you will serve as the primary point of contact throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring smooth and successful client experiences. Key responsibilities include conducting discovery sessions to understand client payroll, HR, compliance, and operational requirements; developing and managing implementation plans with clear timelines, milestones, and deliverables; guiding clients through platform configuration, data migration, testing, payroll validation, go-live readiness, and post-launch stabilization; and collaborating with Payroll Operations, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Account Management teams.
You will support integrations between payroll, HRIS, ERP, and third-party systems, identify project risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation strategies. The role emphasizes leveraging AI-powered tools and workflows to improve implementation efficiency, documentation quality, and client outcomes. You will also contribute to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies, playbooks, and best practices.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience, 4+ years in SaaS implementation, onboarding, consulting, project management, or customer success roles, and 3+ years in payroll, global payroll, EOR, HR technology, or workforce management environments. You must have proven experience managing complex implementation projects from discovery through go-live, strong understanding of payroll operations and compliance requirements, and experience with HRIS, payroll, ERP, or workforce management platforms. Excellent project management, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, along with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities and demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools.
Nice-to-have qualifications include Salesforce or Salesforce-based application experience, familiarity with integrations and APIs, experience supporting multinational organizations, and familiarity with generative AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or Microsoft Copilot.
