As Global Operations Team Lead, you will serve as the frontline leader and bridge between the Operations Manager and a distributed team of Video Data Contributors and Quality Auditors. This is a hands-on management role combining team leadership, technical troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
Key responsibilities:
**Team Leadership & Daily Operations**
- Lead, mentor, and monitor daily output of Video Data Contributors and Quality Reviewers
- Track key metrics: daily upload volume, contributor retention, error rates
- Conduct regular Q&A sessions and office hours on filming protocols and hardware setup
- Drive engagement and reduce churn across a contract-based, distributed team
**Technical Guidance & Quality Assurance**
- Audit uploaded video data for usability, camera positioning, lighting, and recording angles
- Troubleshoot hardware issues (wearable multi-camera setups, head-straps, smartphone mounts) and cloud upload bottlenecks
- Identify recurring failure patterns and collaborate with Operations Manager to refine guidelines and training
**Onboarding & Hardware Coordination**
- Support onboarding of new team members with technical readiness checks
- Verify hardware and camera specifications prior to deployment
