Flexport is seeking an Operations Associate to join its European Operations team and support the company's expansion into Poland. The role involves a 4-6 month embedded period in Hamburg, Germany to master Flexport's operating processes, systems, and software before permanent relocation to Warsaw.
As an Operations Associate, you will be responsible for setting up and executing end-to-end shipment movements within a regional network. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating multimodal supply chain operations, ensuring on-time performance, and delivering first-class customer experience through quality obsession.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as the front line for Flexport quality standards, ensuring shipments move on-time and exceptions are handled appropriately
- Support the manager in guiding the team to improve performance, including data quality and shipment milestone timeliness
- Follow and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) to build scalable operational infrastructure
- Represent Flexport's value proposition by leading business implementation and shipment execution for new clients
- Act as primary point of contact for internal and external escalations, solving client issues quickly
- Coordinate logistics operations with internal and external partners including steamship lines, vendors, customs, and trucking providers
