As a Global Operations Associate based in Copenhagen, you will be a frontline operations professional responsible for ensuring shipments move on-time, exceptions are handled proactively, and clients receive exceptional service. You will independently manage priorities and commitments while meeting internal KPIs and SLAs. Key responsibilities include: - Ensuring highest quality standards for shipment delivery and client communication - Solving client issues quickly and developing solutions independently, escalating to senior team members as needed - Following standard operating procedures and proactively flagging improvement opportunities - Executing end-to-end freight movement (imports and exports, including intermodal) within a regional network - Coordinating day-to-day operations with internal and external partners (carriers, vendors, customs, regional trade lane management, cross-functional stakeholders) - Using data and operational tools to identify patterns, inform decisions, and drive efficiency improvements - Acting cost-consciously to avoid leakages and protect company interests - Supporting partner operations as the company drives partner autonomy and parity with insourced operations You will work in a fast-paced, multinational environment where compliance, client satisfaction, and operational excellence are paramount. The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills. Requirements: - BA/BS degree or completed professional training as a forwarding agent (or equivalent local certification) - 2+ years of experience in operations, logistics, or freight forwarding - Ability to adapt to new technology and thrive in a fast-paced environment - Effective time management and ability to prioritize large volumes of tasks - Strong attention to detail - Ability to seek and receive feedback - Effective verbal and written communication - Teamwork and relationship-building capabilities - Orientation toward working smarter and adopting best practices and standardization - Strong problem-solving capabilities - "Compliance first" attitude for a heavily regulated industry - Client service mindset with obsession for client satisfaction and troubleshooting - Mandatory Danish language proficiency and fluency in English
