Deepgram is the leading platform for Voice AI, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text, text-to-speech, and voice agents at scale. The company has processed over 50,000 years of audio and serves 1,300+ organizations including Twilio, Cloudflare, and Jack in the Box.
As Global Head of Real Estate and Workplace, you will own Deepgram's physical spaces end-to-end, from site selection through operational management. The company is expanding its geographic footprint with multiple workspaces and event venues across the U.S. and internationally that serve dual purposes: working spaces for employees and public event venues for meetups, hackathons, and customer gatherings.
You will be responsible for converting executive vision into documented programs for each site, gathering requirements across Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Developer Relations, People, IT, Security, and Finance. Key responsibilities include occupancy forecasting and space programming in partnership with Finance and People; site selection, lease negotiation, and renewals with Finance and Legal; end-to-end project management of office buildouts from design through permitting and move-in; and day-to-day facilities operations across all offices.
This is a player-coach role where you will be hands-on in the work while building the function. You will manage lease negotiations covering tenant improvement allowances, escalations, expansion flexibility, and international considerations including local counsel engagement and country-specific compliance. You will coordinate architects, general contractors, and designers while holding scope, budget, and timeline. You will design assembly and event spaces with attention to occupancy classification, AV infrastructure, acoustics, power and network capacity, and food service capabilities.
You will hire and lead a small team to scale this function as Deepgram grows. The role requires someone who can read a lease, walk a construction site, manage vendors, and think strategically about how physical space shapes culture, brand, and community. Deepgram operates with an AI-first mindset and moves at the pace of AI, so comfort with rapid change, experimentation, and continuous learning is essential.
