Salary: USD 86,400 - 167,040 / annual

ByteDance's global data center operations team is seeking a Global FOC (Facilities Operations Center) Shift Supervisor to oversee hyperscale data center infrastructure across multiple regions. This role manages the end-to-end lifecycle of server fleet operations, cloud solutions, and infrastructure services, ensuring scalability and reliability at global scale. Key responsibilities include: - Oversee operation, maintenance, and emergency response for global data center infrastructure, providing remote support and coordinating with on-site facility managers and business teams during service disruptions - Escalate and manage major operational risks with timely reporting and closed-loop follow-up, coordinating internal and external resources - Drive implementation and rollout of O&M management systems, unifying operational specifications across data centers and guiding on-site teams - Monitor and analyze regional O&M metrics, conduct quality supervision and process audits, identify risks, and optimize workflows - Support capability building of data center infrastructure platforms, including data ingestion, governance, and alarm management Required qualifications: - 3+ years of data center infrastructure operations and maintenance experience - Familiarity with emergency management procedures - Strong communication and collaboration skills with global teams, vendors, and partners - Ability to respond to unexpected faults and emergencies with cross-team coordination and problem-solving skills - Sound logical thinking, strong sense of responsibility, and proficiency with office and data tools Preferred qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, Data Center Operations, Computer Engineering, or related field - Risk identification and assessment capabilities - Experience with data center O&M systems and large-scale infrastructure development - Strong data analysis, KPI tracking, and fault troubleshooting skills - Experience in large enterprises with global cross-team collaboration
