iCapital is seeking an experienced Events Manager at the Assistant Vice President or Vice President level to lead the Global Events team. Reporting to the Global Head of Events, this role will oversee full-cycle event planning and execution supporting iCapital's distribution partnerships with major wealth management clients across North America and EMEA. Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end planning and execution of conferences, educational roadshows, webinars, workshops, and sponsorship activations. The role encompasses all aspects of event logistics: venue sourcing, contract negotiations, registration, attendee management, catering, audiovisual production, transportation, and onsite operations. You will develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while ensuring flawless execution and accountability. The position requires coordinating speaker logistics, managing both in-person and virtual events, and serving as the primary liaison between iCapital, wealth management partners, asset managers, agencies, vendors, and venues. You will partner closely with Alternative Investment Specialists, Sales, Marketing, General Partners, and client stakeholders to deliver impactful advisor-facing educational programs. Additional responsibilities include managing event budgets, contracts, compliance approvals, vendor onboarding, and invoice processing. You will utilize Cvent, Monday.com, and other event technology platforms for registration, communications, project tracking, and reporting. The role involves building scalable processes and playbooks to improve efficiency, tracking event performance and attendee engagement, and delivering post-event reporting with recommendations for future improvements. The ideal candidate has 6–12+ years of event management, conference planning, field marketing, or experiential marketing experience. Preferred qualifications include knowledge of alternative investments, wealth management, or financial services. Strong project management skills, budget management experience, and proficiency with Cvent and Monday.com are essential. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and attention to detail are required. Willingness to travel domestically and internationally is necessary.
