Salary: USD 140,000 - 170,000 / annual
Crusoe is seeking a Global Category Manager, Power to lead strategic sourcing, supplier management, and category strategy for its data center operations. This role is critical for driving cost efficiency, supply resiliency, and strategic partnerships across regions as Crusoe expands its vertically integrated AI infrastructure platform.
You will own global category strategy development and implementation, ensuring sourcing strategies are innovative, cost-effective, and aligned with company objectives. Key responsibilities include evaluating and managing relationships with key global suppliers, leading contract negotiations to secure favorable terms, and conducting comprehensive risk management across the global supply base with proactive contingency planning.
You'll lead cross-functional coordination with internal and external stakeholders to plan category needs, analyze global spend and market conditions to identify cost savings opportunities, and lead Quarterly Business Reviews with strategic suppliers. The role also includes championing sustainability practices in procurement operations and staying current with industry trends and market innovations.
The ideal candidate brings 5-7+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement, preferably in Data Center Infrastructure, Cloud, or Hardware supply chains. You should have a proven track record managing global supply chains, complex supplier relationships, and vendor compliance at scale. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Bonus qualifications include experience managing global categories across multiple regions, familiarity with data center infrastructure power categories (Busway/Tapboxes, RPP/Whip Cables, PDCs, in-rack PDUs), professional certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM), and experience with AI/data center infrastructure supply chains.
