As Global Category Manager for Cooling, you will lead end-to-end category strategy and supplier management for Crusoe Cloud's data center cooling infrastructure. This is a strategic, single-threaded leadership role reporting into procurement/supply chain leadership, responsible for driving cost efficiency, supply resilience, and strategic partnerships across global regions.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing global sourcing strategies for cooling categories (CRAHs, fan walls, in-row/in-rack CDUs, thermal management systems); evaluating and managing relationships with key global suppliers; leading contract negotiations for favorable pricing and terms; conducting comprehensive risk management and contingency planning across the supply base; coordinating cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance) to align category needs; analyzing global spend and market conditions to identify cost savings; leading quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers; and championing sustainability practices in procurement aligned with Crusoe's environmental goals.
You will need 5–7+ years of strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement experience, ideally in data center infrastructure, cloud, or hardware supply chains. A proven track record managing global supply chains, complex supplier relationships, vendor compliance, and process improvements at scale is essential. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills are critical. Bonus experience includes managing global categories across multiple regions, data center cooling infrastructure expertise, supply chain certifications (CPSM, CSCP, CPIM), and familiarity with AI/data center infrastructure supply chains.
The role is based in Bellevue, WA with flexibility for hybrid work. Crusoe offers competitive compensation ($140k–$170k + bonus), restricted stock units, comprehensive health/dental/vision coverage, HSA employer contributions, paid parental leave, 401(k) with 100% match up to 4%, generous PTO, tuition reimbursement, and commuter benefits.
