The company is seeking a Data Science Manager to lead the operationalization and automation of AI agents and machine learning models in production.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the operationalization and automation of the AI agent and ML model lifecycle in production, including CI/CD/CT practices, governance, and observability.
• Structure and evolve automated pipelines for model training and deployment of AI solutions.
• Monitor AI and ML solutions in production, tracking data drift, model performance, latency, hallucinations, and service stability.
• Manage and optimize costs related to AI/ML solutions and infrastructure using FinOps practices.
• Sustain the infrastructure required for Data Science and AI Engineering teams.
• Serve as a Center of Excellence (CoE) for AI agent governance developed and used by non-technical teams, establishing best practices and supporting responsible adoption.
The role requires leading technical teams, architecting and productionizing ML models and AI agents, and acting as a bridge between complex technical AI topics and business value. The manager will inspire and develop their team while maintaining a proactive, pragmatic approach to problem-solving and cost discipline.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics).
• Solid experience leading technical teams.
• Consistent experience in architecture and productionization of ML models and AI agents.
• Mastery of MLOps and LLMOps tools and practices, including MLflow, Kubeflow, LangChain, and vector databases.
• Strong experience with Databricks.
• Robust knowledge of AI solution observability, including ML model performance monitoring, drift detection, latency, and AI agent hallucination tracking.
• Experience with FinOps and cost management for AI/ML solutions and infrastructure.
Desirable:
• Master's or PhD in Data Science, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence.
• English proficiency.
• Specialized certifications in cloud or AI.
• Experience creating generative AI solutions and/or agentic systems.
• Consistent Data Science and ML background.
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities.
• Product orientation.
