Salary: GBP 150,000 - 200,000 / annual

Lifebit is a Series B-stage healthtech company building a federated AI platform that enables secure, cross-institution biomedical research and analysis while keeping sensitive patient data in place. The platform is trusted by leading precision medicine programs, health systems, pharma, CROs, and academic institutions globally. You will lead a new AI product line as a standalone business unit within Lifebit, reporting directly to the CEO. This is a zero-to-one commercial leadership role with full ownership of the unit's product and commercial outcomes. You will define the go-to-market strategy, set pricing, build the supporting team, and drive enterprise adoption in healthcare and life sciences. Key responsibilities include: - Owning product sales, marketing, and pricing for the business unit, including the teams supporting each function - Carrying revenue and product uptake targets for the unit - Defining and executing the go-to-market strategy for the new enterprise AI product line - Recruiting, structuring, and leading the business unit team - Setting commercial operating cadence: pipeline management, forecasting, and deal governance - Aligning the product roadmap with commercial demand through collaboration with engineering and product leadership - Reporting directly to the CEO on business unit performance The role offers a remote-first culture with flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK or US East Coast (New York, DC, Boston, Miami). REQUIREMENTS: - 10+ years of experience with direct ownership of commercial targets in healthcare or life sciences software - Proven track record launching products from zero to one and scaling them commercially - Experience closing enterprise deals in excess of $300k - Built and managed commercial teams and executed product-led growth strategies - Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments PREFERRED: - Experience or passion for biomedical research, genetics, bioinformatics, or related life sciences domains
