The FX Operations Lead role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and reliability of foreign exchange rates displayed to Payoneer customers across payment and conversion flows. This is a hybrid position based in Herzliya, Israel, reporting into the Operations function.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and validating FX rates across customer-facing payment and conversion flows
- Performing daily operational controls and checks for live and end-of-day FX rates
- Investigating and resolving FX discrepancies, operational issues, and payment-related incidents
- Supporting monitoring of FX configurations, thresholds, and provider integrations
- Collaborating closely with Product, Treasury, Finance, R&D, and Operations teams
- Driving process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives
- Maintaining accurate operational documentation and escalation processes
The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field, with 5+ years of experience in FX operations, payments operations, treasury operations, or financial operations in fintech/banking environments. Required skills include strong understanding of foreign exchange markets, payment flows, and operational risk; experience with operational controls and incident management; ability to analyze complex issues and drive cross-functional resolution; high attention to detail; and a process improvement mindset. Experience with FX data providers and knowledge of FX pricing are advantageous.
