Salary: EUR 30,000 - 40,000 / annual
Stratio Automotive is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to contribute to their condition monitoring and predictive maintenance platform serving the transportation industry. You will own both client-side and server-side development, implementing and maintaining web front-ends while developing, maintaining, and scaling platform and vehicle information databases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Participate in specification and UI/UX design stages for new features, collaborating with Product Owners and Designers
- Implement and maintain responsive, accessible web front-ends
- Develop and maintain core services with business logic using .NET and REST/JSON APIs
- Design software architecture supporting high availability and horizontal scalability
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Build reusable code libraries and extend UI toolkits with custom components
- Advocate for improvements in product quality, security, and performance
- Maintain internal code standards through code review and best practices
The role is based in Coimbra with flexibility for remote or hybrid work, though monthly in-person attendance at the Coimbra office is expected. Stratio's technology powers condition monitoring for over 1.3 billion annual travelers and generates 250,000+ maintenance predictions daily.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Solid knowledge of C# and .NET ecosystem
- Hands-on experience with web front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript)
- Good knowledge of relational databases, particularly SQL Server
- Knowledge of software design and architecture, including client-side patterns
- Understanding of coding methods and computer languages
- Knowledge of software development life-cycle processes
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure
- Fluency in English
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience building web UIs with .NET frameworks (e.g., Blazor)
- Experience with design systems and component libraries
- Experience with cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines
