Twilio is seeking a Fraud Operations Specialist to join its global fraud prevention team. This full-time role is based remotely in Estonia and focuses on protecting Twilio's communications platform and customers from fraud and abuse.
In this position, you will investigate fraud cases quickly and efficiently, analyzing non-compliant traffic to understand bad actor behavior and evolving tactics. You'll work to identify and stop fraudulent activity while minimizing false positives, protecting both Twilio customers and the platform itself. A key part of the role involves identifying trends, understanding root causes, and recommending preventative solutions to stop bad actors from succeeding.
You'll be part of a fast-paced, analytical team that requires curiosity, quick thinking, and a strong bias for action. The role demands willingness to work non-traditional schedules, including weekends, holidays, and evenings. Previous experience in customer service or customer-facing roles is required, as effective and empathetic communication is essential.
Desired qualifications include basic knowledge of SQL, Looker, Tableau, or similar data extraction and visualization tools; basic understanding of APIs and related technologies; and 1-2 years of experience in queue-based or contact center environments.
Twilio is a remote-first company with a strong culture of connection and global inclusion. While primarily remote, you may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings. The company offers competitive pay, generous time off, parental and wellness leave, healthcare, retirement savings programs, and opportunities to support community initiatives.
