Supabase is hiring its first Technical Program Manager to establish and lead a new TPM function within the organization. Reporting to the Head of TPM, you'll design systems and processes for how strategic, cross-functional work gets delivered across a global, distributed team of ~400 people.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Engineering, Product, and Design to structure and drive complex, cross-team initiatives—clarifying scope, securing commitment, setting timelines, and managing dependencies from design through launch. You'll build tracking, reporting, and escalation mechanisms that surface risk and progress, and design processes to ensure launch readiness is predictable and coordinated across all participants.
You'll act as the connective tissue between teams and functions, asking clarifying questions about priority and scope, building trusted relationships with stakeholders, and maintaining transparency through clear written communication. You'll identify bottlenecks before they become blockers, map dependencies across projects and teams, and coordinate delivery across groups without direct reporting lines. You'll develop technical and domain fluency to be an active, credible member of the delivery team.
Ideal candidates have 7+ years of technical program management experience in software, SaaS, or systems development; a track record of leading large-scale, cross-team software delivery programs; comfort in fully remote, async-first environments; and the ability to influence outcomes through others without direct authority. You should communicate clearly, build credibility with technical and non-technical stakeholders, have strong attention to detail, and possess technical fluency to self-identify risk and engage with senior engineers on architecture and dependencies. Experience with Linear, Jira, or equivalent tooling at scale is expected.
