Axle Health is seeking a Founding Delivery Manager to own the end-to-end customer implementation journey for its AI-powered scheduling and workforce management platform serving home healthcare providers. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role at a Series A startup backed by Y Combinator, Pear VC, and F-Prime Capital.
You will be the primary implementation owner, responsible for translating customer requirements into configured, tested, and launch-ready product deployments. Key responsibilities include:
- Requirements and Workflow Translation: Partner directly with customers to uncover and document operational workflows, converting them into clear configuration and integration requirements.
- Project and Timeline Management: Own implementation timelines and milestones across multiple concurrent customer projects, keeping work sequenced and visible to stakeholders.
- Account Configuration: Build out customer environments to match requirements, making product ownership tradeoffs as issues surface.
- Integration Scoping: Define technical integration requirements and sequence engineering work to prevent last-minute blockers.
- Testing and Validation: Design and execute user acceptance testing to surface issues before go-live.
- Go-Live Readiness: Own the go/no-go checklist and drive it to completion.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary implementation contact, keeping customers informed and aligned throughout the build.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to maintain implementation context and flag product gaps early.
- Process Improvement: Identify recurring configuration patterns and translate them into enhancement requests to move toward self-service capabilities.
You will work in an environment with significant ambiguity and autonomy. The role reports to the Head of Professional Services and requires comfort being the single accountable owner without a dedicated project management team behind you.
Required qualifications include 7+ years in business analysis, product management, or technical project management in B2B SaaS implementation environments, with demonstrated ownership of complex, end-to-end builds. You must be comfortable with hands-on platform configuration, managing multiple concurrent implementations, translating ambiguous customer conversations into buildable specs, and making product tradeoffs under go-live pressure. Prior early-stage or growth-stage startup experience is required.
Nice-to-have skills include SQL experience, healthcare/logistics/workforce management vertical knowledge, UAT framework building, EHR or complex third-party integration exposure, and comfort with AI tools for documentation and troubleshooting.
