monday.com is seeking a Forward Deployed Consultant to join its Professional Services team. You will train, advise, and consult with customers to optimize their use of the monday.com AI work platform during AI transformation, implementation, and managed services engagements. You will design and build AI-native solutions, configuring agentic workflows, automations, and reporting that customers rely on. You will run engagements both independently and as part of a delivery team collaborating with deployment strategists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead AI transformation and implementation engagements for monday.com customers, designing and building tailored solutions using agents, vibe-coded applications, and advanced platform capabilities.
- Build strong relationships with client stakeholders through discovery that uncovers desired business outcomes and ensure successful adoption across their organization.
- Consult on business process design, mapping how work moves through a customer's organization and recommending process changes before solution build.
- Design sophisticated workflows and relational data structures within the monday.com platform to solve complex business cases, partnering with technical resources for data conversions, integrations, and agentic engineering.
- Actively leverage monday AI and external Generative/Agentic AI tools to accelerate solution design, automate complex business logic, and deliver intelligent workflows.
- Act as project manager on standalone engagements, building and executing project plans to keep deliverables on-time and on-budget; deliver defined scope alongside a deployment strategist on larger engagements.
- Run online webinars, training sessions, consultations, and one-on-one demos showing customers how product capabilities translate into business value.
- Produce documentation, walkthroughs, and exit artifacts enabling customers to operate, maintain, and extend solutions independently.
- Represent the voice of the customer by advocating for their needs and influencing the product development roadmap.
- Contribute patterns and reusable assets developed in the field back to the shared asset library.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience as a forward deployed consultant, implementation consultant, solutions consultant, or technical project manager in enterprise software.
- Experience leading software implementation or managed services projects requiring hands-on build and system configuration in project management, CRM, service desk, or collaborative work management software.
- Fluency in Generative and Agentic AI tools, with strong understanding of how to leverage AI in streamlining work productivity and building intelligent workflows and agents.
- Familiarity with what keeps AI reliable in production, including human review, checking outputs, and knowing when deterministic automation is the better answer.
- Strong problem-solving skills rooted in computational thinking, systems design, and understanding of relational data structures.
- Business process design and consulting experience, with business acumen to frame engagements around customer outcomes and judgment to read implicit problems behind explicit requests.
- Working knowledge of integration platforms (make.com, Zapier) sufficient to configure lightweight integrations; foundational knowledge of APIs (GraphQL) and MCP a plus.
- Strong customer-facing and presentation skills with ability to establish credibility with client stakeholders and executives, and clearly articulate technical topics to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies across changing sets of customers and industries.
- Detail-oriented with strong project management skills, comfortable running engagements independently and working across several simultaneously.
- Superb written and verbal communication skills, with positive attitude, empathy, high energy, and ability to take initiative and adapt.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
- BA or BS degree preferred.
