Salary: USD 74,000 - 99,000 / annual

Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Operator to support flight test operations for the Altius program, a small uncrewed fixed-wing aircraft platform. You will work with test engineers and program leads across multiple departments to plan, coordinate, and execute flight test operations in a fast-paced, innovative environment. Key responsibilities include: - Assist with system checkouts, flight operations, and provide feedback on Altius aircraft for the Test Engineering team - Build, program, and maintain autonomous aircraft for flight operations - Collaborate with Test Engineers on operational tasks including flight execution, material preparation, and test profile support - Participate in product installations and demonstrations at test sites - Support Site Manager and onsite team with maintenance, inventory management, office supply management, and equipment upkeep - Travel between test sites as needed based on testing requirements and team needs The Test and Evaluation team at Anduril conducts full system-level development testing, production acceptance testing, sub-component qualification testing, and comprehensive test support across all product lines and business units. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact military systems and work on cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, and sensor fusion technology. REQUIREMENTS: - RC, RPIC, or Pilot-operator (PIC) experience on fixed-wing commercial and/or defense Group 2 aircraft - Ability to obtain and maintain FAA Part 107 certificate and complete FAA Part 61 ground school as required - Ability to travel on an as-needed basis; willingness to travel approximately 60% of the time - Familiarity with flight controllers and autopilot logic - Significant knowledge and understanding of National Airspace regulations and operating restrictions - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to own a variety of tasks in an autonomous environment - Ability to work extended hours as required - Strong customer service and organizational collaboration mentality - Small UAS maintenance experience - Subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - LiPO/LiON battery handling experience - Bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, software, or mechanical engineering - Experience with developmental and operational test
