Anduril Industries is seeking a Flight Test Operator to support the Test and Evaluation team across its portfolio of defense technology systems. The role involves hands-on work with autonomous aircraft and precision engagement systems, including building, programming, and maintaining aircraft for flight operations.
Key responsibilities include assisting with system checkouts and flight testing of advanced defense platforms, working alongside Test Engineers on operational tasks that enable engineering work, executing flight profiles, and providing feedback on system performance. You will participate in product installations at test sites, support demonstrations, and assist with site maintenance including inventory management and equipment upkeep.
The position requires significant travel (approximately 60% of the time) between test sites based on testing requirements. You may be asked to work extended hours as needed to support test schedules.

You must be able to obtain and maintain an FAA Part 107 certificate and complete FAA Part 61 ground school. Strong knowledge of National Airspace regulations, flight controller and autopilot logic, and small UAS maintenance experience are essential. The role demands excellent communication skills, ability to work autonomously, and willingness to travel extensively.
Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree in aerospace, electrical, software, or mechanical engineering; experience with LiPO/LiON battery handling; and background in developmental and operational testing. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with aviation operations experience looking to apply their skills in cutting-edge defense technology development.
