As Flight Program Manager, you will drive operational delivery and field readiness for the Flight and Lab teams, bridging R&D, hardware manufacturing, and real-world mission deployment. This is a hands-on role requiring ownership of the complete operational lifecycle of flight assets—ensuring hardware, software, and ground infrastructure are mission-ready.
Key responsibilities include:
- Clarifying scope, success criteria, acceptance criteria, and readiness for field testing or release
- Managing end-to-end delivery of Flight and Lab team missions
- Driving regular syncs, reviews, and escalation routines for critical initiatives
- Leading planning, scheduling, and execution of R&D flight tasks
- Coordinating all stakeholders in flight operations for alignment with company priorities
- Overseeing the complete lifecycle of flight equipment: manufacturing, retrofitting, procurement of drones, and availability of ground infrastructure
- Maintaining rigorous status, risk, and resource tracking for flight and lab team throughput
- Driving operational readiness of all flight and lab assets for field testing and deployment
- Providing clear reporting to leadership on what is on track, blocked, unclear, or requiring decisions
You will work in high-uncertainty, mission-critical environments where requirements change rapidly and physical constraints are as important as software code. The role requires comfort with sensitive defense-related information and strict operational security practices.
Required qualifications: 4+ years in project/program/delivery/technical program management; proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery from R&D prototyping to field readiness; strong resource dependency management including equipment procurement and supply chain tracking; ability to bridge engineering and real-world performance; clear executive-level reporting skills; fluent English and excellent Ukrainian; comfort with high-uncertainty environments; high ownership and operational discipline; strong risk-management mindset.
Advantages include experience in drone/UAV operations, robotics, aerospace, embedded systems, startups, field testing, military/government customers, or engineering/product/operations backgrounds.
