Swarmer develops autonomous drone software that enables large coordinated teams to operate without pilots. The company became the first Ukrainian defense startup to go public on NASDAQ in March 2026 following a $15M Series A, and their technology has been battle-tested in Ukraine.
We are seeking a Flight Program Manager to drive operational delivery and field readiness for our Flight and Lab teams. This is a hands-on role bridging R&D, hardware manufacturing, and real-world mission deployment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own the end-to-end operational lifecycle of flight assets, ensuring hardware, software, and ground infrastructure are mission-ready
- Turn engineering requirements into executable schedules and manage physical supply chain dependencies for drones and components
- Manage and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of Flight and Lab team missions
- Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of R&D flight tasks, including ad-hoc priority activities
- Oversee manufacturing, retrofitting, and procurement of drones; ensure availability and readiness of ground infrastructure
- Maintain rigorous status, risk, and resource tracking for flight and lab team throughput
- Drive operational readiness of all flight and lab assets for field testing and mission deployment
- Provide clear, action-oriented reporting to leadership on blockers, equipment availability, and mission status
- Coordinate all stakeholders in flight operations to ensure alignment with company priorities
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years in project/program/delivery/technical program management
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end delivery cycles from R&D prototyping to field readiness and mission deployment
- Strong capability managing resource dependencies, equipment procurement, manufacturing coordination, and supply chain tracking
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams bridging lab-based R&D and real-world performance
- Fluent written and verbal communication in English and Ukrainian
- Comfortable in high-uncertainty environments with rapidly changing requirements and constraints
- Strong risk-management mindset and operational discipline
- Readiness to work with sensitive defense information and follow operational security practices
