Meter builds enterprise networking as a service, designing, installing, and managing critical networking infrastructure for modern companies. The Fleet Partnerships role owns the partner and technician performance loop that ensures high-quality network deployments at scale.
In this position, you will build deep relationships with Meter's global installation partners and technicians, and develop the systems that ensure consistent delivery of high-quality network deployments. Your core responsibility is making partners successful by driving performance, improving operational systems, and building programs that help technicians excel.
SUCCESS METRICS (First 6 Months):
- Technicians perform as extensions of Meter, hitting ≥95% on-time arrival, 100% documentation completeness, and <5% rework rates through your cadence and accountability structures
- Fleet capacity scales ahead of demand; you maintain live visibility of partner capacity against forecasted volume and proactively negotiate expansion (technicians, rate structures, capacity agreements) before bottlenecks emerge
- Technicians are motivated to work on Meter projects; you launch recognition programs that incentivize exceptional work and make partners feel the product is built for them
- Partner feedback continuously improves systems; you establish partner scorecards, structured check-ins, and engagement cadences so partners know their performance and field insights drive internal improvements
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Run partner performance reviews and develop improvement plans when KPIs are missed
- Review deployment volume forecasts against partner capacity and proactively negotiate capacity expansion with scaling partners
- Lead commercial conversations on rates, capacity commitments, and contract terms
- Meet with Fleet technicians and partner leadership to understand operational challenges and unblock deployments
- Design incentive programs rewarding technicians for quality and on-time work
- Lead commercial onboarding for new partners
- Translate partner feedback into improvements with internal teams (Ops Engineering, Dispatch, Fleet Sourcing, Technician Operations, Distribution, Service Delivery)
- Advise Dispatch on partner capacity based on commercial relationships and operational knowledge
- Run recurring partner check-ins covering tactical execution and long-term business planning
- Build systems powering the partner network: dashboards, feedback loops, onboarding programs, partner scorecards
CARIER TRAJECTORY:
In year two, you could build the global performance system powering Meter's deployment network (partner scorecards, incentive programs, technician certification), expand the installation partner ecosystem into new markets, manage Meter's most strategic partners, or influence next-generation installer tooling and operational systems.

Meter is a vertically integrated networking company building enterprise hardware, software, services, ISP, and autonomous networks on a single data pipeline. Customers include Bridgewater, Lyft, and Reddit. The company is solving the problem that enterprise networks haven't fundamentally changed in decades—they remain brittle, complex, and difficult to deploy at scale.
TRAVEL: 30-40% expected. You'll conduct in-person meetings with partners, support onboarding, and observe technicians in the field. On-site presence is essential for building trust and raising performance standards.
