As a FinOps Specialist, you will serve as a senior regional authority establishing and enforcing robust business assurance frameworks across regional markets and operations. Your core responsibilities include:
**Oversight & Assurance**: Monitor and enforce business assurance frameworks across regional markets, ensuring operational integrity and compliance.
**Process & Control Transformation**: Design and execute a process transformation roadmap to simplify, standardize, and automate complex FX reconciliations, controls, and risk-monitoring mechanisms.
**Digitalization & Automation**: Identify operational gaps and manual vulnerabilities in reconciliations, FX monitoring, and merchant settlements. Partner with Product, Engineering, Data, and Finance teams to implement sustainable, automated, and scalable solutions.
**Issue Governance & Structural Fixes**: Drive root-cause analysis on operational differences, control deficiencies, and transactional anomalies. Ensure cross-functional execution of corrective and preventive action plans for long-term structural improvements.
**Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work strategically with regional and global stakeholders across Finance, Treasury, Commercial, Product, Tech, and Compliance to align priorities, mitigate operational exposure, and streamline workflows.
**Continuous Improvement & Risk Analytics**: Establish continuous monitoring mechanisms through key metrics, automated dashboards, and regular assurance reviews to provide visibility to executive leadership.
The role offers flexible work arrangements with the ability to combine self-managed focus time with in-person collaboration. dLocal supports work-from-anywhere flexibility, allowing team members to travel and work remotely for up to 3 months annually.
**Requirements:**
- 2+ years of experience in Projects, QA testing, internal/external auditing, reconciliations, or multinational companies
- High attention to detail, well-organized, and excellent analytical skills
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large amounts of data
- Ability to adapt to change quickly and multi-task
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Solid experience with SQL and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Looker) to query, analyze, and build automated assurance dashboards
- Applied AI & Automation Skills: Practical experience leveraging AI tools (e.g., LLMs, Generative AI, or machine learning frameworks) and prompt engineering to accelerate data analysis, automate anomaly detection, enhance risk identification, and streamline assurance workflows
