Hims & Hers, a leading health and wellness platform and NYSE-traded public company, is seeking a Financial Analyst to join its Strategic Finance organization. This role reports to a leader on the FP&A team and focuses on supporting consolidated planning and reporting deliverables, building and maintaining core financial models, and contributing to executive and Board-facing materials.
Key responsibilities include:
- Building and maintaining components of the consolidated financial model across annual operating plans, long-range plans, and monthly forecast cycles
- Supporting forecast cycle mechanics including data intake, model updates, and variance analysis
- Contributing to executive-facing financial deliverables such as Weekly Business Reviews, monthly OpEx reviews, and quarterly Board and Audit Committee materials
- Preparing variance analyses explaining actuals vs. plan and forecast at consolidated and segment levels
- Partnering with category, marketing, and operations finance counterparts to gather and consolidate inputs
- Building financial models from scratch to solve business problems
- Identifying opportunities to improve planning and reporting infrastructure through AI, automation, and systems optimization
- Performing ad-hoc financial analyses and presentations for finance leadership
The role offers regular guidance from experienced team members with periodic reviews as you develop expertise and increase ownership over time.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of experience in analytical financial roles such as strategic finance, FP&A, investment banking, and/or consulting
- Strong financial modeling skills, comfortable building multi-scenario P&Ls and supporting models from scratch
- Ability to manipulate large datasets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to translate analyses into clear, structured narratives
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability
Nice to have:
- Investment banking or high-growth company experience
- Exposure to public company external reporting cycles (Board, Audit Committee, earnings/guidance)
- Experience with online subscription businesses, acquisition marketing metrics, and lifetime value concepts
- Familiarity with AI and automation in finance workflows
