Netflix's Finance Program Management Office (PMO) is seeking a Finance Program Manager to drive planning and execution of cross-Finance process, technology, and data programs. This hybrid role (based in Los Angeles or Los Gatos with part-time remote flexibility) reports into the Finance organization and owns the business side of multiple transformation initiatives.
Key responsibilities include leading programs from ideation through implementation, defining scope and success outcomes, developing project charters with clear milestones and dependencies, and tracking task status to surface roadblocks. You will proactively manage risks, align business and engineering partners on priorities, and translate complex program status into clear executive communications.
Stakeholder management is central to the role. You will cultivate strong relationships across Finance business leads, product, engineering, and technical program managers. You'll manage through influence, ensuring executive sponsors receive timely updates and appropriate escalations. Change management expertise is required—you'll apply structured methodologies to lead adoption activities, develop stakeholder analyses, business impact assessments, and training plans.
Domain knowledge of Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Record to Report, and Forecast to Delivery business processes is essential. You'll be a self-starter who takes ownership in ambiguous situations, helping shape direction and bring structure when the path forward is unclear. Occasional international travel may be required.
Required qualifications: 7+ years of project or program management implementing complex systems across multiple processes and teams; 3+ years focused on finance and accounting processes within a global enterprise; Bachelor's degree (business or finance preferred). PMP certification, experience with modern PMO tooling (Smartsheet, Coda, Airtable), and comfort with AI-assisted workflows are preferred. CPA or professional finance accreditation is a plus.
