As Finance Operations Specialist, you will ensure smooth daily operations of the finance team through process execution, automation, and cross-functional collaboration. Your responsibilities include: • Process Automation & Scripting: Identify, develop, and implement solutions to enhance financial workflows. You will actively write and maintain Python scripts to automate routine tasks and increase daily efficiency. • Strategic Support: Collaborate with the Finance Team and other stakeholders to support new projects, ensuring operational alignment with tax, accounting, and treasury guidelines. • Data Analysis & Engineering: Conduct detailed data analysis and reporting using programming skills to extract, manipulate, and analyze financial data for treasury process optimization. • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work effectively across departments (including Tech and Data teams) to ensure smooth financial workflows and clear stakeholder communication. The role is hybrid, with three days per week in-office (Tuesday, Thursday, plus one day of your choice), with flexibility to request additional remote time. REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Management, Economics, Computer Science, or related field - 3+ years of hands-on experience in finance operations, accounting, or tech-driven process optimization - Solid, proven experience with Python and scripting applied to data manipulation, automation, or API integrations - Good understanding of accounting principles, ERP systems, and financial process workflows - Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills - Fluent in English and Italian
