As Finance Generalist, you will be a core member of the finance function reporting to the Head of Finance. This is a broad, high-ownership role that touches nearly every function at the company. You will own key financial models, report on business and financial performance, evaluate pricing and new investments, and build automations to increase finance team efficiency. You'll work across finance, revenue operations, go-to-market, product, and engineering teams, identifying high-leverage questions and turning ambiguous problems into clear analysis and actionable recommendations.
The role emphasizes an AI-native approach to finance. You will use AI and automation as core tools to build models, dashboards, workflows, and lightweight systems that increase decision speed and quality. Success means providing leadership with a trusted, decision-useful view of revenue, spend, headcount, and unit economics; answering important questions with rigorous analysis and clear recommendations; building systems that become more automated and reliable as the company scales; and establishing finance as a trusted partner across the organization.
Location: NYC Flatiron office, in-person, five days per week.

- Builder's mindset: create systems from scratch, automate repetitive work, and improve team operations rather than maintain existing processes
- AI-native working style with track record of using AI and modern tools to work faster, go deeper, and increase leverage
- Strong business judgment to identify which questions matter most and balance rigor with speed
- Excellent communication skills and confidence to turn complex analysis into clear recommendations for leadership

- GTM fluency: experience with SaaS metrics, pipeline and capacity planning, pricing, commissions, or usage-based business models
- Data fluency: comfort working directly with large or messy datasets using SQL, BI tools, or lightweight scripting
- Strategic planning: experience owning planning for a business unit or organization and surfacing key strategic questions and investment priorities
