Skydio is seeking a Field Service Coordinator to manage field service operations for the Skydio X10 Dock product line. This role sits within the Customer Support Operations team and serves as the central coordination point between customers, Field Service Technicians, third-party service providers, Customer Support, and internal operations teams.
The Field Service Coordinator owns the complete lifecycle of service work orders—from creation through completion. Key responsibilities include scheduling service appointments with customers and field technicians, managing work orders in Jira with timely updates and accurate documentation, coordinating parts logistics and replacement shipments, and monitoring repair progress to ensure timely resolution. You will track replacement parts, manage RMA processes, coordinate preventative maintenance activities, and maintain accurate records in Jira and Salesforce.
This is a collaborative role requiring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You'll work cross-functionally with Customer Support, Logistics, Repair Operations, and other teams to resolve issues, maintain accurate records, and ensure customers receive timely updates throughout the service process. Your coordination efforts directly impact operational efficiency, equipment downtime reduction, and customer experience.
Ideal candidates have experience coordinating field service operations, service scheduling, or technical support. Proficiency with Jira, Salesforce, or similar platforms is essential. Experience with RMA processes, order management, third-party vendor coordination, and service logistics is highly valued. Strong written and verbal communication skills, a customer service mindset, and the ability to prioritize competing demands are critical. Interest in robotics, drones, or connected hardware is a plus. Experience supporting Public Safety, Utilities, or Infrastructure customers is also beneficial.
