Neko Health is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support the installation, maintenance, and servicing of proprietary clinical scanning technology across US sites. The role combines hands-on technical expertise with cross-functional collaboration to ensure high reliability and minimal downtime for clinical operations.
In the first 6–12 months, you will successfully install, maintain, and service scanning instruments across US clinical sites; build strong collaboration with engineering and operational teams to translate field insights into actionable product and process improvements; establish consistent documentation, reporting, and compliance standards; identify opportunities to improve service efficiency and preventative maintenance approaches; and support scaling of field service capabilities as Neko expands.
Minimum qualifications include a technical certification, Associate degree, or equivalent experience in engineering, biomedical, or a technical field; minimum 5 years of hands-on field service engineering, technical support, or instrumentation experience; proven experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and servicing technical equipment in operational environments; strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills; excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; strong written and verbal communication in English; and ability to work independently while collaborating across teams and geographies.
Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in engineering, biomedical engineering, electronics, or related field; experience with clinical, healthcare, diagnostic, or medical device technologies; exposure to regulated environments or quality/compliance standards; experience supporting distributed or multi-location service environments; and familiarity with preventative maintenance programs and continuous improvement methodologies.
