Via Transportation is a public transit technology platform serving hundreds of agency partners globally, transforming traditional transportation systems into smart, data-driven networks. As a Field Operations Manager, you'll lead daily on-site operations for a transit service, ensuring reliable and accessible transportation for riders and communities.
You'll own real-time operational decisions across fleet management, driver supply, compliance, and rider needs. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role requiring 4–5 days per week onsite in Prescott. Key responsibilities include running smooth daily operations, making informed decisions about service delivery, guiding and supporting drivers through relationship-building, converting rider and community feedback into operational improvements, and leveraging data and technology to diagnose problems and enhance efficiency. You'll act as the operational bridge between city partners, drivers, and Via's central teams.
Ideal candidates have operational experience in people management, logistics, customer service, or process-oriented environments. You're relationship-oriented, earning trust through clear communication and follow-through. You're hands-on and proactive, preferring field-based problem-solving. You balance tactical issue resolution with strategic long-term thinking. You're mission-driven, motivated by expanding transportation access and improving community mobility. You must be based in Prescott, AZ and available for consistent onsite presence.
