Science 37 is seeking a Field Nursing Operations Manager to oversee nursing operations for decentralized clinical research studies across the Southeast region (Florida, Louisiana, Georgia, or Alabama). This is a fully remote role with up to 60% travel for study participant visits, team meetings, and client presentations. You will supervise all nursing activities within your assigned region, manage per diem mobile research nurses as direct reports, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, Good Clinical Practice standards, and company SOPs. Key responsibilities include: • Oversee operational implementation and daily management of nursing activities for clinical research studies • Supervise and provide line management for assigned per diem nurses, including documentation of performance meetings • Deploy across regions to provide targeted study coverage aligned with therapeutic trial requirements • Ensure participant safety and maintain strict HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality • Develop and deliver protocol-specific training, skills development, and remediation for nursing staff • Create study-specific nurse-facing resource materials to support home-based protocol execution • Serve as the nursing subject matter expert (SME) for assigned studies, collaborating cross-functionally • Ensure quality of data collection and timely data entry into the Science 37 platform • Participate in study start-up, execution, and closure activities; provide direct mobile research nursing services as needed • Identify process improvements and minimize operational inefficiencies • Participate in internal audits of nursing documentation and remediate deficiencies • Advise nursing leadership of actual or potential issues The role is 40% administrative and 60% travel-based. You will work independently within the Nursing Solutions Group and integrate with a decentralized team environment. QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: • Active RN licensure in home state (required); Compact Licensure preferred • BSN degree preferred • Minimum 5+ years of clinical/research experience preferred • Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience required; 3+ years preferred • Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification • Active driver's license and access to reliable vehicle • Ability to work remotely and travel up to 60% with limited notice • Physical ability to perform nursing tasks and lift equipment up to 15 kg • Ability to obtain nursing licenses in multiple states as needed • Proficiency in nursing skills: venipuncture, IV placement, medication administration, comprehensive/focused assessments, ECGs, vital sign collection, emergency first-responder care • Medical record review and abstraction capability for protocol inclusion/exclusion criteria • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Working knowledge of MS Office and Google applications; willingness to learn proprietary software • Ability to work nights/weekends as needed • Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written) • Demonstrated professionalism, integrity, flexibility, problem-solving ability, and cultural competency
